What is IPSSC?

IPSSC or the Institute of Protection Specialists & Security Contractors, is a training and support organization for professional bodyguards and private security contractors engaged in the provision of force protection duties in active combat zones and other hostile or non-permissive areas.

The aims of the organization are to provide our members with the best training and support services available.
Our training cadre features instructors from various walks of life, all of whom are experts in their chosen field. Many of our instructors already run their own successful schools teaching various elements of the bodyguard skill set such as defensive tactics, firearms and other combatives, surveillance, counter surveillance and various other intelligence roles and medical skills training.
Some of our instructors are big names in the industry whilst others are lesser known but are equally qualified to pass on their knowledge and expertise which they have gained through hands on, operational experience.

On the support side, we strive to provide support services to our members by offering special discounts on things such as travel, vehicle rental, hotel accommodation, equipment, training discounts and discounts on information services such as the "Global Incident Map" for example.
Other support services include access to this site which features access to all manner of useful, up-to-date intelligence information, training notes and useful contact information.  We also feature one of the largest professional contact networks in the world which, provides members with the opportunity to network for employment opportunities and overseas training opportunities.

How do I join IPSSC and what does it cost?

There are 3 levels of membership to IPSSC - all of which provide the same benefits...

Monthly Membership - At just $7.50 USD per month ($90.00 per year total over 12 months) (Payable by credit card via our secure merchant account or by PayPal), our monthly membership package is cost effective and easy to maintain - you simply sign up using our PayPal payment service or if you prefer, our secure merchant account, and your credit card will be automatically charged on a monthly basis until you cancel your membership.

Annual Membership - At just $65.00 USD per year, our Annual membership package is both affordable and convenient - you simply pay using either of the above mentioned methods (Credit Card or PayPal) and once you sign up, your card will be automatically debited once a year (annually in advance) so each year, you pay your annual dues for the year ahead.

Lifetime Membership - IPSSC Lifetime Membership costs just $495 ( less a $65 discount if you already have signed up for the year) and is a one time payment only.  Payable by either Credit Card, PayPal, International Money Order (Made Payable to IPSSC) or in cash via Western Union - Lifetime Membership is convenient in that once joined, you will never pay a single dues payment again - EVER!
